Falafel wafels // Gaufres Falafel

I only eat falafel at home or when they are oven baked elsewhere, as I dont eat fried food at all 🙂 And since salty breakfast is my favorite breakfast. plus wafels and Falafel, I thought why not combine it all in one !!! best idea ever ! find below how the magic happens. img_6553 Ingredients:
  • 300g Hard chickpeas
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 30g Fresh parsley
  • 15g Fresh coriander
  • 90g Chickpea flour
  • 40ml water
  • Salt & pepper
Topping:
  • 1 poched egg & germinated seeds

Or

  • Avocado & salmon
How-To Leave the dry chickpeas in water overnight. The next day, rinse and drain and pour into a blender. Add the herbs (coriander, parsley), garlic, cumin, lemon juice and dates (previously cut into small pieces). Mix until a dough is obtained. Pour the mixture into a container then add the chickpea flour and the water as you go. Add salt and pepper to taste. Heat a waffle iron, grease the plates with oil and then take a ball of preparation and place it in the center of the waffle print (flatten slightly with the palm of the hand), cook for a few minutes (the waffle must be well-gilded with a crispy appearance). Enjoy ! Mariam
